Derek Morton

Derek Morton

Managing Director

Derek's career with NetVector began in 2000 having joined former work colleague Nigel. The two met previously at PPP Healthcare where Derek was a server support and project specialist. Derek's other former employment has been within the insurance and banking sectors.

Since 2000 Derek has provided IT support to SMEs and more latterly assumed control of the finance and operations departments within the business.

Company Development Director

Nigel is the Founding Director, who first worked for what was to become NetVector from Christmas 1994.

Nigel has worked in IT since leaving Leicester Polytechnic in 1990 with a degree in IT. He has worked for Corporate and smaller organisations and has been in NetVector since its beginning. He has carried out most roles in NetVector over the years, these days he is not involved in the technical side as much but looks after customers old and new.

Emma Weston

Emma Weston

Financial Controller

Emma joined NetVector in April 2012 in the role of Accounts Administrator. A key member to the team, she has over 10 years’ experience in bookkeeping, sales, project and account management continues to work closely with all the team, assisting with day to day running of the business and responsible for all the financial transactions.
She is also First Aid trained and assists with HR administration, developing others, improving internal processes and procedures.

Emma is qualified AAT Level 4, Diploma in Accounting and endeavours to develop her skills, from doodling to even juggling!

James Parr

Operations Manager

James joined NetVector in July 2013, his main role is to Manage Operations and the Service Delivery aspect of the company.

James has 14 years’ of experience working within the IT sector 7 years of which have been within the IT Services industry. He managed support and project teams of 30+. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information and Communication Technology. He enjoys motor racing and is a huge car enthusiast.

Graham Staley

Customer Account Manager

Graham’s role in NetVector as a Customer Account Manager is to develop long-term and mutually profitable relationships with our clients.

He is a telecommunications engineer by training having joined BT as an apprentice straight from school. He has held a variety of roles both in field engineering and for the last 20+ years in sales. His sales roles include both Business Development and Customer Account Management. Before joining NetVector he was a Customer Account Director focusing on the NHS and Higher Education sectors.

Outside work he has an eclectic mix of interests, he designs and makes stained glass panels, he is a Season Ticket holder at Harlequins Rugby club and try to attend every home game. When time and weather allow he enjoys a good ramble across the Sussex Weald.

Michael Mann

Support Team Leader

Michael Joined Netvector in 2007 as a Helpdesk Analyst during which time he has worked in a number of roles and has now taken the role of Support Team Leader. Part of this role includes ensuring all tickets logged on the helpdesk are dealt with in a timely fashion, coordinating staff on client sites, ensuring regular checks are conducted and maintaining a great level of customer service.

Outside of work Michael will often be found in the gym working on his fitness.

Senior Technical Analyst

We welcomed Shabir back to NetVector in February 2017 after a short spell away, with over 14 years’ experience in the IT industry, Shabir has provided support, maintenance, installations and consultancy for a wide rage of industries such as insurance, media, hospitality and retail.

He has a keen interest in VMWare with a VCP certification in Data Centre Virtualisation along with a BSC (Hons) in Computing and Business IT.

Joining Netvector as a Technical Analyst in mid 2012 Alastair is one of a selection of engineers responsible for carrying out a wealth of maintenance, support and installation tasks for customers throughout Kent and London. With over 7 years of professional IT & Telephony experience coupled with a lifetime of tinkering, Alastair is well placed to ensure your specific technology needs are met.

Sam Nason

Technical Analyst

Sam joined NetVector as a Helpdesk Analyst in April 2012. He has 8 years of experience in the IT industry, previously teaching at an IT training centre.
He has studied Cisco, Oracle and Microsoft and specialises in Office 365 deployment and management.
Asides from computing, Sam runs for his local running club having participated in two marathons and currently training for his 3rd.
He also plays squash on a weekly basis with Russell

Technical Analyst

Declan joined NetVector in August 2013 and as a Helpdesk Analyst, he provides 1st and 2nd line remote support to a range of customers and infrastructures. Primarily working with Windows Small Business Server and Windows 7 performing diagnostics and troubleshooting on both hardware and software. He also works with our hosted virtual environment providing services such as hosted exchange and RDSH. As part of his role, he is required monitor and resolve issues with a range of backup solutions including Veeam, Backup Exec and Cloudberry.

Technical Analyst

Russell joined NetVector in
August 2013. He offers various levels of support, on the phone, customer site visits both planned and as needed. Installations and migrations of all computer / server hardware.

Microsoft MCSE, MCP on Desktop and server systems, Sonicwall CSSA
Away from work, Russell is a Scout Leader and spends time with his family.

Technical Analyst

Clive joined NetVector in June 2017 as a Technical Analyst.
After 8 years in the British Army, he was ready for a new challenge and furthered his education, embarking
on a career in IT.
With over 20 years’ experience in IT, mainly within central government and the defence sector, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge having worked in a range of different environments, countries and systems.
He has even found time to write and publish a book.

Helpdesk Analyst

Gary joined NetVector at the beginning of October 2015 as part of the helpdesk team.
He works with the other members of the helpdesk team to resolve issues that are called in or we detect.
NetVector is his first IT role, he joined after finishing his HND. He has been working with computers for a number of years and focused his studies on the IT field. He spends a lot of time tinkering with different electronics and fixing things he ends up breaking from tinkering.

Charlie joined in September 2016 he completed his Microsoft Apprenticeship Scheme and received a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma last year – previously he supported education sites. He enjoys gaming, music, and technology (of course!)

Jacob Lytham

Helpdesk Analyst

Jake joined NetVector in June 2017, returning to the UK after two years of world travel.

He graduated from The University of Leeds in 2012, and has a background in television graphics for live sports broadcasts around the UK and Europe.

This is his first IT role and is now a part of the HelpDesk Team. Jake enjoys gaming (from video to board), comedy, being outdoors and playing sports.

Annette Everard

Annette Everard

Business Administrator

Annette joined Netvector in October 2016 as a Business Administrator. Her role is primarily to process a range of financial transactions and to support the business with day to day administration tasks. She has over 17 years’ experience in administration and staff management and has previously specialised in HR and Pensions.

Annette has a BA Hons Degree in History and, outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at local school events, baking, reading and travel.

Sam Rickets

Sales & Technical Administrator

Sam joined in November 2015 as NetVector’s first apprentice, in the role of Business Administrator, he is working closely with the team to develop his skill as a Business Administrator. Sam is a qualified Level 1 Basic First Aider.
Sam is also a member of Cowden Lawn Tennis Club where he volunteers to help out coach and also takes parts in tournaments and social events.
